Graduated from Milan University in 1995, he attended theoretic-practical internships, courses and seminars mainly addressed to surgery. In 1999 he began an alternative course to obtain his ECVS (European College of Veterinary Surgery) diploma, and completed the clinical course with Dr Tommasini Degna in 2007. He was speaker and instructor in the basic surgery course held by SCIVAC in 2000, 2001 and 2002. He has presented his reports to national and international seminars and congresses (ECVS resident forum Velbert, 2002). From 1998 to 2002 he worked in the Gregorio VII Veterinary Centre in Rome, as doctor and surgeon in the ER. Since 2012 he has been working exclusively as reference surgeon for the Malpensa Veterinary Clinic (Samarate), the Ai Portoni Rossi Veterinary Hospital (Bologna) and other referenced structures. He is currently responsible for the soft tissue surgical unit at the Malpensa Veterinary Clinic (Samarate) and joint manager of the general surgical unit at the Ai Portoni Rossi Veterinary Hospital.

He is particularly interested in soft tissue surgery and neurosurgery.
